FAQ

What size does the card appear on the printed page?
Exactly 85.6 × 54 mm — the standard ID card footprint (the same as a credit card). The layout renders at 300 DPI and the PDF page is A4 in exact physical points, so a caliper or ruler check passes as long as you print at "Actual size" (100%), not "Fit to page".
How do I print the copy at the correct size?
In the print dialog choose "Actual size" or set scale to 100%, and turn off "fit to page" / "shrink to printable area". Paper size A4. The default 12 mm margins keep the copy comfortably inside every printer's printable area.
Can I put the front and back side by side?
Yes — that's the default layout for this page: both sides on one A4 sheet, horizontally centered. You can also switch the content size to "Full page" if you want each side to fill the sheet.
Is it allowed to copy my ID card?
Copying your own documents for legitimate paperwork (applications, registrations, verifications) is a normal everyday need — that is exactly what this tool is for. Only scan documents that belong to you or that you are authorized to copy, and comply with your local laws.
Does the photo get uploaded anywhere?
No. There is no upload in this tool at all — decoding, perspective correction and the PDF build all happen inside your browser.
